Please make sure you have plenty of water with you, and bring a portable shade cover if possible. There is a covered area at the Launch Control area, but space is limited. Suncreen is highly recommended, especially for children.  Fall weather is finally here!  We have cooler days, but still a lot of sunshine. 	THE NEW LAUNCH SITE IS APPROXIMATELY 4 MILES NORTH OF PLANT CITY. From the Far North: Take I-75 South to State Road 54 Take State Road 54 East for 5.5 miles until you come to Morris Bridge Road Take a right, stay on Morris Bridge Road for 3/4 mile until you come to Chancey Road Take a left, stay on Chancey Road for 4.4 miles until you come to Paul Buchman Hwy (SR 39).  Take a right on SR 39 (south), stay on SR 39 for 9.3 miles until you come to West Knights Griffin Rd. Take a right, stay on Knights Griffin Rd for 1.2 miles until you come to Varn Rd. Take a right, stay on Varn Rd for 3/4 mile and take a left onto a dirt road where there will be a sign that says “TRA #17” Follow the dirt road till you get to the gate.  There will be a Tripoli Rocketry Association sign there, close the gate behind you and proceed through the field until you come upon the launch area. From the North: Take 275 S or 75 S to I-4E. From the South: 275 N or 75N (depending on which side of the bay you’re on) to I-4E. From the East:  I-4 W         Once you get to Paul Buchman Hwy (SR 39) Go North for 3 miles until you get to Knights Griffin Rd.          Take a left on Knights Griffin and go for 1.2 miles until you get to Varn Rd.         Take a right, stay on Varn Rd for 3/4 mile and take a left onto a dirt road where there will be a sign that says “TRA #17”          Follow the dirt road till you get to the gate.           There will be a Tripoli Rocketry Association sign there, close the gate behind you and proceed through the field until you come upon the launch area.
